ROCCAT Kone Pro Air Gaming PC Wireless Mouse Review
Roocat’s Appearance is outstanding. The scroll is exceptional—an aluminium scroll wheel with reasonable steps. Clicks get used to because they are optical and feel a little hollow at first. They are on the light side of moderate and have good tactility, so overall, they are decent. Side buttons have perfect placement and no travel issues. The material is a rubberized plastic that might make the hand sweaty but provides a nice texture and good grip. Weight is excellent, and feet glide effortlessly. The sensor performance is fantastic, with no issues. Lift-off distance is low. DPI, colour (x16), colour mode (x5), LOD, and polling rate are all configurable via on-board controls. No software is required. That is a big selling point for me.

The Symbol, Purified
The Kone’s ergonomic shape has always been adored by gamers worldwide, and in the Kone Pro Air, it’s been refined to perfection. Meticulous anthropometric research informed dozens of subtle changes.
How do you Feel when utilizing
The shape is the most comfortable and ergonomic among the ones I’ve seen and felt. Grabbing the mouse feels right, with your thumb and pinkie fitting perfectly onto the sides. At the same time, the shape is good and allows for very natural, snappy movements when gaming (that is, indeed, the product’s primary purpose); I wouldn’t feel comfortable saying the same regarding the performance. Once plugged in, despite working instantly, the first “necessity” is to download the Roccat Swarm software to tweak and customize the mouse to your liking.
Enthusiastic Mechanical Advantageous
Internally, Roccat uses proprietary designs for the Kone Pro Air’s key mouse components. The Owl-Eye sensor, which Roccat has used in some of its recent mice, tracks at up to 19,000 DPI. It’s quick, accurate, and gets the job done. Under the click panels, it sports Titan optical mouse switches, rated to last through 100,000 clicks. That’s approximately twice as long as Omron mechanical mouse switches. Despite this reliance on optical actuation (a laser activating the input when the panel is pressed down), you won’t feel a difference between the Kone Pro Air’s soft click and a standard mechanical switch.
